The CCAA website was updated again today:
“The CCAA has finished the review of the adoption application documents registered with our office before October 31, 2005.
The CCAA has finished the placement of children for the families whose adoption application documents were registered with our office before June 28, 2005. ”
The first bit of news means that all Chinese adoption applications that were logged in as received by the Chinese government on or before October 31, 2005 have been reviewed. If an applicant has made it this far and hasn’t otherwise heard from China, it means that the applicant’s file has been approved. The only process left for these files is the actual matching of children with these files.
The second bit of news means that all applications logged in a received by China before June 28, 2005 have been matched with a child. Parents who have just been matched with a child should be receiving information about their new child within the next few days.
