California State Fair

On Labor Day, the family went to the California State Fair in Sacramento. The highlight of my State Fair trip each year is to sample one deep fried piece of food. This year, I saw selling at the fair Deep Fried Snickers, Deep Fried Twinkies, Deep Fried Spam, Deep Fried Frog Legs, Deep Fried Pop Tarts, and Deep Fried Cheese Ravioli. In the past, there has been Deep Fried Coke, Deep Fried Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich, and Deep Fried Krispy Kreme Chicken Sandwich. The fair sold the more usual deep fried foods as well (corn dogs, fish, chicken, etc.) Below is Emily with my purchase this year, the Deep Fried Snickers. It was actually very tasty. The whole family had at least one bite with Emily eating most of it. I should have bought two. Click the picture below for more pictures from the fair.
