Following message appeared on the CCAA website tonight at about 10:30 PM (Pacific Time):
“The CCAA has finished the review of the adoption application
documents registered with our office in June 2005. The CCAA has
finished the placement of children for the families whose adoption
application documents were registered with our office before May 13,
2005.”
This means that people whose dossiers (adoption applicants) were logged in as received by the Chinese government before May 13 (and haven’t already received a referral) will be receiving their referrals (notifications of a match with a child) within the next few days. If the Chinese government mailed the referrals last Friday (as rumored), then people may be receiving their referrals as early as tomorrow (Monday).
