This morning, people are posting on internet bulletin boards that they have received their Chinese adoption referrals (notice from the Chinese government via their adoption agencies of matches with babies) today.
Today, our home was visited by a social worker from our adoption agency for our homestudy. In today’s mail, we received acknowledgement from the Department of Homeland Security that our I-600A form has been received.

David, Susan, and Emily met with representatives from our adoption agency this afternoon. Earlier in the day, Susan had her fingerprints taken at the local police department for the home study.
David went to the local police department today to get fingerprinted (state criminal record check) and request a police clearance letter as required for the adoption homestudy/application.
