Update tonight on the CCAA website: “The CCAA has finished the review of the adoption application documents registered with our office in July 2005.”
Our dossier (Chinese adoption application) was logged in as received by CCAA (the Chinese government agency that oversees adoptions) on July 28.
Thus, our dossier has passed through the CCAA review room where dossiers are thoroughly reviewed to determine whether or not applicants are qualified to adopt a child from China (otherwise, we would have heard something from CCAA, via our adoption agency, by now).
Our dossier now goes from the review room to the match room. In the match room, each dossier is matched with a file of an orphan who is qualified to be internationally adopted.
